In the middle of the night

It's just gone half past three in the morning on Tuesday the 11h of July 2006 ... and I'm awake. Why, I hear you ask.... but I'm not sure I have a good enough answer to that.

You see, it's like this. I spent most of the weekend over indulging - too many late nights, too much lazing around and too much sushi. So naturally, I was pretty knackered on Monday even though I had to work. I went to the cinema on Monday evening to see The Lake House (a pretty good movie - worth going to see) and then went to my cousin's house and hung out there for a little while. I should have come straight home and packed my bags in readiness for an 8am flight in the morning, but somehow I couldn't get my backside off the chair and into the car. I finally got home about 10pm and fell asleep for a few hours and about 2am I woke up and decided that I really should pack my bags

And now, at 03:37hrs I find myself in a rather difficult position
(a) I've all but finished packing my bag
(b) I'm really tired but I can't go back to sleep for the fear of not waking up again
(c) I feel like tomorrow's going to be a long day .... 'cos it'll probably be about 11pm by the time I get to bed tonight.

As my mum used to always say to me ... "First things First!". I should have listened to her good advice and packed my bags last week !
